“Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life’’.

Hi, I’m Bec. The eye behind the camera of R Henderson Photography. I am a maternity, birth, newborn, baby and family photographer.

Prior to My journey as a photographer I worked several years enthusiastically in Real Estate, but once I became a mum my career was easily overshadowed by the love for my children and passion for photography. I casually started R Henderson Photography while tending to mum duties but it wasn’t until after my second baby I decided it was a passion worth pursuing.

I have been photographing newborns, babies, families, maternity, events & Weddings since 2010. I enjoy all types of photography, but there is one that I am especially passionate about; Newborns. There is nothing more beautiful than those first few weeks of life.

I am a certified Newborn Photographer and proud member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP). I have taken part in many training courses and mentoring programs in Photography, Newborn Photography, Workplace Health & Safety and Photoshop. I have completed training in CRP, choking & first aid I am also vaccinated and immunised. I am continuously learning the art of photography and keeping up to date, with the latest technology.

I am also a Mum to two beautiful children, 12 and 14. I am a positive person and am easily pleased. I believe in putting my faith and family first, enjoying the little moments and not taking things too seriously. I enjoy keeping busy, doing and trying new things, seeing new places and meeting new people. I LOVE personal development, spending time with family and friends having a joke and laugh until my stomach hurts.

I have always treasured photos and cant help but feel they are one of the most important possessions we can have. As each year goes by, the weeks and months seem to be going by much faster than the year before. I know all too well how easy it can be to forget all those special moments, without having something to look back on and for that reason I feel personally responsible to capture as many memories as I can each session and go that extra mile to freeze those moments in time so that in 5, 10, 20 years from now I can look back and remember each and every detail, feel the flood of emotions and smile.

XOXO
